Customers interested in the BMW 4 Series can choose from three engine options and rear or All-Wheel Drive (AWD) options. The base model 430i is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can push our 255 horsepower and 294 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other hand, the M440i models use BMW\u2019s 3.0-liter \u201cB58\u201d turbocharged inline-six engine, delivering 382 horsepower and 364 lb.-ft. of torque. It is also assisted by a new 48-volt mild-hybrid system that sharpens its responses. While the coupes and convertibles can be had with an AWD system, the 430i models are rear drive by default. The most powerful engine comes with the M4 model \u2013 the \u201cS58\u201d 3.0-liter inline-six engine that can deliver 473 horsepower and 406 lb.-ft. of torque driven through a six-speed manual transmission. This engine can make the M4 reach 60 mph in just under four seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
