The 2 Series and 3 Series vehicles are luxury sedans from BMW. The 2 Series is smaller and classed as a subcompact executive car. It might be the image in your head when you think of a BMW sedan. The 3 Series is a compact executive car, so it is a little bigger than the 2 Series, but it doesn\u2019t exactly look that much different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the BMW X1, X3, and X5?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The X in these models refers to the fact that these vehicles are crossovers. Think of the \u201cX\u201d as meaning \u201ccross.\u201d Just like with the 2 Series and 3 Series, the smaller the number, the smaller the vehicle.
