The first engine is a 2.0L\u00a0inline-4 design meaning the four cylinders of the engine are arranged in a line. A turbocharger is also added to the engine to help it generate more power without using more fuel. It can generate 248 horsepower and 258\u00a0lb-ft of torque. What does that mean for its fuel economy? The X3 has an EPA-estimated combined 27 mpg.<\/p>\n

How well does the other engine perform?\u00a0To start, it is a bit bigger than its counterpart. This engine sits at 3.0L and has an inline-6 configuration. More pistons and a larger size allow\u00a0the engine to generate 382 horsepower and 365\u00a0lb-ft of torque.\u00a0It does have a slightly lower fuel economy, only reaching a combined 23 mpg, but the power is worth it.<\/p>\n
