1. Find the Right Solution 

According to the CDC alcohol solutions and cleaners that have at least 70% alcohol content are effective against the COVID-19 virus. Many of the solutions and household cleaners that you use in your common day-to-day life can be included in this list, though we don’t recommend using them on softer surfaces like the seating. Isopropyl alcohol is a good catch-all, as it doesn’t affective your upholstery and can destroy the virus. 

2. Avoid Harmful Solutions 

 Bleach and hydrogen peroxide are not recommended, as they will damage your vehicle despite being effective at killing the virus. We also do not recommend any cleaners that use ammonia, as while they are effective at killing COVID-19, they also damage your vehicle’s screens. They remove the anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coatings on your model. 

3. Soap and Water are Best 

Soap and water might not seem like the best possible solution, but it proves to be one of the best ways to combat COVID-19 and other diseases. It’s safe for most surfaces in your vehicles, including fabrics and most leathers, and with moderately vigorous cleaning can destroy the protective envelope of viruses leaving them vulnerable and disarmed.
