2020 BMW X5 Standard Audio Features

The standard HiFi sound system in the 2020 BMW X5 comes with 10 speakers and a 205-watt digital amplifier. This system can play delightful noises pumped through standard entertainment features including Apple CarPlay, HD Radio, satellite radio, Bluetooth and multiple USB ports. The vehicle also comes with an anti-theft AM/FM stereo, pre-wiring for the SiriusXM® Satellite Radio Tuner, and pre-wiring for a CD player. The HD Radio™ enjoys “multicast” FM station reception.

Available Harman Kardon BMW X5 Sound Systems

Twelve and sixteen-speaker Harman Kardon sound systems are available for the 2020 BMW X5. The 16-speaker variation comes standard on the xDrive50i and M50i trims. These systems turn your X5 into a luxurious listening lounge, delivering impressively spatial sound through perfectly placed high-performance speakers. Harman Kardon advertises their ability to deliver both huge power and delicate details. The systems feature a 464-watt amplifier fitted with DSP technology.

Available 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Surround-Sound System on the 2020 BMW X5

For $4,200, buyers can add the top-tier 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound audio system to their 2020 BMW X5. Features include diamond-domed tweeters, which adds to the high-end luxury SUV feel.
